Dry Eye Relief

Dry Eye Relief (Paid Ad)

If you continually experience “Dry Eyes” or insufficient tears – please see your doctor! This is an over-the-counter product, but you should still take “Dry Eyes” seriously. I use these drops as an eye-wash to flush a bit of dust or grit from my eye if I have been working outside. Other family members use lubricating eye drops on the advice of physicians. Single use containers are individually sealed, easily open and it is handy to keep a few in a pocket or purse just in case!

UPDATE

Every Couple of years, I buy a replacement for one of these toothbrush cover/sanitizers. They are used daily and recharged frequently. As each new model comes out, the charging plugs have changed and finally settled on the USB-C which is common to many phones and tablets.

This year, we are trying the one from HubiCare. Click on the links above and see what they claim a steriliation rate of 99.9%.

Maybe you would prefer to open up a new toothbrush every day, but most people don’t. A toothbrush sanitizer is a small battery powered device that bathes your brush in UV and stores it for the night or for travel.

I prefer a UV capable storage and travel case for my toothbrush, especially in the bathroom at home, so take a look at this model on Amazon.

Our dentist recommended twice daily use of this Tooth and Gums Tonic would be better for us than alcohol-based mouthwash. It has a pleasant taste and is now a part of my daily self-care routine.

…And he recommended this for your Toothbrush:

Tens stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation. I have heard about them for years and saw (an expensive one) when a family member used one to help with knee pain.

Well, they have come a long way in the past few years! Recently, a family member developed pain, swelling and carpal tunnel in a hand/wrist. After asking a physical therapist if a TENS unit would be of potential benefit, I ordered the TechCare Massager Tens Unit Plus 24 Rechargeable Electronic Pulse Massager Machine.

It is like having your own personal acupuncturist at your beck and call 24/7….in a small, rechargeable “box”! Easy to set up, lots of good instructions and pictures to help place the electrode pads, charge in the lithium battery lasts HOURS and it says lifetime warranty. Best of all, we have seen a reduction in the swelling and pain at a very reasonable unit purchase price.

This has been a great, effective do-it-yourself  treatment to use.
